Many of the countries I go to will take US currency but only if it's in mint condition and less than five years old. I've learned from experience that finding new bills is not easy so you have to start collecting early. It's only at Christmas time do the banks have new money. Right now I'm on the hunt for 20's which after visiting 5 banks isn't looking to good. Friday, October 23, 2009

I have two thoughts for you. Regarding the new money you can probably have your bank oder new bills for you. I have ordered a couple new bills for Christmas gifts. They need a certain amount of lead time to do this.
Second Saratoga Library is having a book sale this weekend .... Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. You might find some interesting books for a very reasonable price. They are all donated books to raise money for the library. Saratoga also has a "Book-Go-Round" up in the village with donated books at a very reasonable prices. They raise funds for the library and it is run by volunteers.
