U.S.A Flag

Everyone is asked to fly their flag today in memory of those killed in the 9/11 attack. At our house we fly the U.S.A. flag everyday. It's getting a little faded and will be retired soon and replaced with a new one. We display the flag in front of our house while our son is still on active duty in the military. Chad is currently serving on his fifth deployment in the Middle East.
We live in an area where it is not common for people to go into the military. The most difficult part is those who think if you don't agree with your assignment (which ever side of the war you're on) you should just quit or refuse to go. Can you imagine what our country would be like if our troops could pick and choose when to serve or if no one joined the military? So fly your flag and let the troops know we are thankfully for their willingness to serve and put their lives on the line for us.

Well said Lisa. Our country would certainly not be the way it is, if no one was willing to be in the military.

Absolutely well said. We are so very lucky to live in a place where so many men and women sacrifice to protect our country.
