Some photos from the "Quad's" birthday party this past weekend. Ty (my great-nephew) has a lot of food allergies. His mom asked us to make a cupcake out of red vine licorice. It's not easy to make the licorice do want you want it to do and still have it safe for a two-year old. You can't use toothpicks to hold it together. Evan my daughter made jello cupcakes as a back up in case the licorice creation got rejected.

what an awesome idea - jello cupcakes. I would have rejected the licorice cupcake (yucky) & gone straight to the jello!!
