Early morning surprise!

Very nice surprise this morning! I've been watering this tree all summer while the automatic sprinklers are being fixed. I thought it was a lemon tree and was waiting patiently for them to turn yellow. The tree is just loaded so I decided to cut one open and to my surprise it's a lime tree! I haven't lived here long enough to know what all the trees are. 

Now I have to go get some ginger beer and make a Moscow Mule Mocktail. A few months back I wanted to see if using a copper mug really made a difference. I was bored and there was a lime tree right outside the door of where I was staying. We get them into the thrift store all the time, that should have been my first clue. Since I don't like the taste of alcohol, I left that part out. I did like the ginger beer (which is non alcoholic) and at the time Costco was stocking it. Then my supply of limes ran out and Costco stopped carrying it, I haven't had it since.
