After many many years (I think maybe 20+) I closed up my final booth at Cranberry Hill. The store moved to a much smaller location after the building they had been in from many years was sold. The new location is not easy to see from the main street and the foot traffic just isn't there anymore. I just had my card rack there but with so many other card makers selling there now, I wasn't making enough to cover the rent. Since I also don't teach classes there either, my sales went way down. It was a very tough decision to leave, as I want to support a small business but my current work schedule makes it hard to keep my card rack fresh. The store also isn't open on Sundays, my only real day off so that sealed the deal to close. Have to thank Geri (the owner of Cranberry Hill) for always being supportive of us crafters.
Now the challenge is what I should do with all my cards (half are being donated) and how to sell the cards I make in the future.
