Cross Stitch Cat Card 2018

Yes this card took a long time to make. The cross stitching went pretty fast of adding the beads took 2X a long. Then it took a few days to decide what sentiment to go with it. My daughter ask that I send it to one of her good friends since it looks like her cat Mo.

Cross Stitch Backgrounds.

I've been having a lot of fun with the Paper Smooches cross stitch die. Being inspired by crafting guru, Jennifer Mcguire, I made this background using up the bag full of leftovers threads. Years ago (maybe 25+ years) a friend would send me all her left overs. Yes, I asked her to send me the leftovers. She and her daughter crossed stitched some amazing things! During my divorce I purged 90% of what I owned but the box of thread survived. It's so relaxing to just play with color and stitch away while binge listening, (because I don't really watch)what's on the T.V. The cards turn out colorful and happy. So glad the threads made it through the purge of 2011. :)
