Washi Paper Heart Valentine's - 2018

While making my Valentine's cards, I decided to use up some of my washi paper scraps. I make a ton of iris folding cards using washi paper and end up with tons of scraps too good to toss. I used fun foam to pop the hearts up and a little wink of stella for some shimmer.

I'm really having fun with my new Paper Smooches cross stitch die. Having been crafting all my life, I have a lot of stuff to pull from. With enough thread to cover a house, it's fun to finally pull them out of storage. I went with clean and simple because I do send out a lot of cards and cross stitch takes time. It was a goal for the last 2 years that I send out cards for every holiday, birthday and just because. 

Cross Stitch Cards - 2017

I finally got the die cut (Paper Smooches) that makes the little holes to cross stitch. Big thank you to Jennifer Mcguire, who did a great Youtube video that inspired those of us who love to cross stitch & card making to convert over to paper. I plan to do a workshop at Fabmo using this die. These aren't fast cards so at least for me, they only go out to card worthy friends. :)

Used Rubber Stamp Sale Stamps

With the 2018 used rubber stamp sale coming up next month, I have to hustle to use the stamps I picked up at last year's sale. My goal is to get stamps or supplies that I will use within one year. I usually don't put anything on the inside of my cards but after watching Amy R of Prairie and Paper videos, I made the leap and adding some embellishing on the inside.
