At the store we use black sharpies to prices everything. I made the mistake of not putting the cap back on tight enough when I put it in my shirt pocket. Pocket protectors aren't a thing anymore so of course I got a big black ink stain on one of my good shirts. Where the stain was a small patch wouldn't work.
My first thought was to have a friend machine embroider something over the whole pocket, like a cover up tattoo. While I was at FabMo a few weeks ago I saw a fabric sample with a very large embroidered bird. So today I ironed on some fusible backing and cut it out. Keeping the pocket would make it too bulky so I removed it. You can see where the stain was. The bird isn't quite big enough to cover the whole thing but still better than a big black ink stain. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to hand stitch or machine zig zag.
