Simply Thank You Card 2018

Penny Black Stamp & Copic Markers
Getting ready to mail out my thank you cards and many of  these friends aren't card makers, so I kept the card simple. I know they will be tossed in the trash as soon as they read them.
This is also one of the cards for the FabMo Paper Crafters Workshop this month. It's a good beginner copic coloring class for those who no nothing about the product.

FabMo Paper Crafters January Workshop 2018

Star Dream Card Stock
Inspired by a blog post by Jennifer Mcguire, I pulled out a very old Stampin Up stamp set (2004) to do a simply water color on an heat embossed card.
Doing classes at FabMo, the cards have to be simply since I don't know the crafting level of the people attending but still look nice. I also like to use what I have in my stash since the workshop $$$ is donated to FabMo.

Honey and Lemon Get Well Card 2017

I'm a fan of honey and lemon as a cure all.
This card was inspired from a Pinterest post a while back.
I didn't have all the parts, so I waited several months for the black Friday. I still had to break out my Cricut machine to cut the Ampersand to get the correct size.
This is the first draft, it still needs a little sprucing up but I got the proportions right. Will be part of my January card class in 2018.

Little Gift Box Card

Not the best photo, sorry about that. I wanted to a gift box card I had seen on Pinterest  and I remembered the design but not the dimensions. So I picked up this box die cut (which in my world was $$$) thinking it would speed things up in making the boxes. When I got home had couldn't figure out why it wasn't turning out right. Finally the light bulb went on and it was becasue the box was so much small than the sample I had seen. Had to go back to the old school method and make the box from scratch. Still the box die does make cute little boxes and tiny bow.
