Being a single parent

Didn't think at 65 I would be a single parent! Down in Carmel with Henk and it's been challenging to say the least. He's not sleeping well, which means I'm not sleeping at all.  Since it's just me, it makes it even harder since I can't just pop on over to the store to get food when his parents didn't send any down with him. They said "just feed him whatever you're eating", which would have been cashews and coffee. :(

Taking a very cranky and hungry baby to the store isn't ideal at all.  Now the challenge is how to get some sleep before my brain shuts down.
