Embossing Folders - Simple Card

Related Posts with ThumbnailsGoing through my stash and decided to use some embossing folders that haven't seen daylight in several years! It's a simple card using melted pony beads a tip I found on Pinterest.
I think I will save this card for my class down at the senior center next month.

Silver Clay

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI've been taking classes silver clay classes through my crafting Meetup group. It's fun but very $$$. For this class we learned to make molds from found objects to form our silver clay. I plan to turn these into necklaces at some point or when my skill level gets a little better. :)

Birthday Balloon Hat 2015

Related Posts with ThumbnailsOne of my co-workers has a side business doing balloon twisting. She made me a hat for my birthday in a dog theme since she is also a fan of my Annie.

Card Challenge

Related Posts with ThumbnailsCard challenge. I have a senior (at work) who buys stamps but doesn't know what to do with them. This stamp wasn't the easiest one for a beginner to work with. It was a challenge for me to design something she could make in class.

Melted Pony Beads

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI have a two card classes coming up this week. One on Wednesday for the seniors at work and one for my Meet Up group.
I had this bag of pony beads (don't know where they came from) and saw on Pinterest you could melt them down to make faux enamel dots. Not everything you see online really works but this project did. I made a super simple card (for the seniors) using the dots.

Flowers everywhere!

Related Posts with ThumbnailsFinally one of the 600 daffodils popped up. I was getting worried the gophers, who don't like daffodils had gotten to them anyways. I have two orchid plants from my parents house. These have to be very hearty plants because the last storm knock everything over.
There was break in the rain today for Annie to get some play time in. Beautiful rainbow at the end of the driveway.
